Overview

Moolu.io is a mobile growth and attribution intelligence platform designed to help businesses optimize user acquisition performance through centralized analytics, automation, and fraud-resilient data processing. <br/> The project started from an early-stage concept, where the founding team had strong market vision but limited technical expertise. Our team supported the product from ideation to delivery, shaping the platform architecture, designing the mobile application and dashboard experience, and implementing integrations with major Mobile Measurement Partners (MMPs).

Challenge

As an early-stage startup with no internal engineering team, Moolu faced critical challenges in transforming their concept into a production-ready platform

1. Data Ingestion at Scale: Handling high volumes of attribution and performance data from multiple Mobile Measurement Partners required a resilient ingestion architecture. The platform needed to normalize diverse event schemas while maintaining real-time processing capabilities.

2. Third-Party Integration Complexity: Each partner integration — including Adjust, AppsFlyer, Singular, RevU, WDigital, and Tremendous — introduced unique authentication methods, rate limits, webhook behaviors, and validation rules. Ensuring stable and secure connectivity across all providers was critical

3. Fraud Prevention & Signal Validation: The platform operated in a performance marketing environment exposed to attribution fraud risks. Implementing secure event verification, token rotation strategies, rate limiting, and Google Play Integrity validation mechanisms was essential to maintain data trustworthiness.

4. Startup Product Foundations: As an early-stage startup without internal technical resources, Moolu required support in defining its core architecture, product workflows, and analytics logic. Translating a high-level idea into a scalable technical system demanded both strategic product thinking and engineering execution.

5. Dashboard Experience & Data Visualization: Designing an intuitive analytics dashboard capable of presenting complex campaign metrics required careful UX planning. The goal was to reduce onboarding friction while enabling users to quickly interpret performance insights and optimize acquisition strategies.

6. Performance & Reliability: Processing large daily data streams while maintaining fast response times and stable system behavior was a major priority. Queue-based processing, structured logging, and monitoring pipelines were implemented to ensure consistent platform performance.

We adopted a structured product engineering approach combining technical architecture design, UX strategy, and scalable backend implementation.

Product Ideation & Validation:
We worked closely with the founders to refine the original concept, validate business assumptions, and define the platform’s core value proposition. This included designing data flows, defining KPI frameworks, and structuring monetization logic.

Platform Architecture & Data Pipeline:
A scalable backend architecture was implemented to support high-frequency event ingestion and analytics computation.
Key improvements included:
• Centralized ingestion layer to normalize data from multiple MMPs
• Queue-based processing pipelines to ensure reliability and throughput
• Intelligent rate-limit strategies to protect APIs and prevent abuse
• Token rotation mechanisms to enhance integration security
• Real-time monitoring and structured logging
The system was designed to handle large daily volumes of attribution and performance data, enabling accurate reporting and campaign optimization insights.
